I’ve just replaced an used BCM for the 2018 Honda Accord. Following I’m gonna show how to program BCM replacement with Autel MaxiIM KM100.
Plug MaxiVCI V200 into OBD.
Connect to Autel KM100 via Bluetooth.
IMMO >> Honda >> System selection >> Keyless System >> Keyless system(Honda) – Type 1
Is the ignition turned on by pressing Start button twice? No
Press and hold Start button.
The ignition is not switched on, please release the engine start/stop switch.
Vehicles of 2018- >> Replace PCU/Back up control/Smart system control unit
Enter the 17-digit VIN >> OK
Press and hold Start button.
Please release the engine start/stop switch.
Press and hold Start button.
The ignition is switched on. Please release the engine start/stop switch.
Registration condition
- There is no DTCs.
- Here must be all keyless remotes which want to register. One keyless remote have to be in vehicle.
Press “OK”.
Please turn the ignition switch off.
(Don’t press the foot brake and press the engine start/stop button.)
Please take one original keyless access remote into the vehicle. And remove all other keyless access remotes from the vehicle.
Press “OK” to continue.
Is the ignition turned on by pressing Start button twice? Yes
Enter the number of remotes: 1
You can see the security light is flashing.
The registration has failed.
Try to add a key again.
Please turn the ignition switch off.
(Don’t press the foot brake and press the engine start/stop button.)
Please insert the original keyless access remote to keyless access remote slot.
Please turn the ignition switch on.
(Don’t press the foot brake and press the engine start/stop button twice.)
Press “Yes” to exit the function.
Please turn the ignition switch off.
(Don’t press the foot brake and press the engine start/stop button.)
Please take one original keyless access remote into the vehicle.
And remove all other keyless access remotes from the vehicle.
Press “OK”.
Please turn the ignition switch on.
(Don’t press the foot brake and press the engine start/stop button twice.)
You can see the light is not flashing.
The registration is completed.
Please turn the ignition switch off.
(Don’t press the foot brake and press the engine start/stop button.)
Check all keyless access remotes to ensure each will start the engine.
Check all keyless access remotes to ensure each will lock and unlock the doors.
Please turn the ignition switch on.
(Don’t press the foot brake and press the engine start/stop button twice.)
Now let me check if all the remotes are working.
Yes, it can start the vehicle after replacing the BCM.
So that means Autel KM100 Key Programmer can replace BCM for 2018 Honda Accord.
