This is a guide on using Autel MaxiIM IM508 to read ID46 pincode for 2016 Hyundai Santafe. The procedure works the same on Autel MaxiIM IM608/ IM608 Pro as well, no need any fees.
Connect Autel IM508 to OBD.
Turn ignition on.
IMMO >> Hyundai >> System selection >> Read pin code >> Read pin code(46 smart card) >> Read pincode by OBD
This function is only supported for vehicle with 46-chip smart card.
Press “OK” to continue.
Turn the Hazard warning light on.
Open and then close the driver door once!
Reading password

Turn the ignition off.
(Note: the instrument screen is black)
The password that is read: 004938
Done.
