How to Backup Data From OTOFIX D1 to SD Card?

This is a tutorial on how to backup data from OTOFIX D1 to SD card. The process also applies to diagnostic tablets like OTOFIX D1 Max, D1 ProS, D1 Lite, etc.

 

NOTE:

  • Make sure the SD card has been set up according to the following step;
  • Make sure the SD card has enough storage space as the picture shows, as the file you are trying to copy is a bit big.

 

Steps

  1. Go to Settings–System settings—Storage;
  2. Tap the SD card, and tap SET UP option;

 

  1. Click Portable storage button;

 

  1. Click Format SD card;

 

  1. Go to ES File Explorer—-Local—-Home—Scan–Vehicle to find the vehicle file that needs backup;
  2. Long press the file, tap Copy button on the bottom menu;
  3. Go to ES File Explorer—-Local and tap the SD card name to find the directory that you would like to save the file, then tap Paste.
