Charging Tips
On the purchase of your IM608 Pro key programming diagnostic tool, we do recommend waiting until the battery is depleted before charging and avoid keeping it constantly connected to power. Plugging the unit in before you leave for the night is an excellent habit to develop.

Registration
- Register at https://pro.autel.com/
- Register on IM608 PRO tablet: Create an Autel ID >> Enter email, password, verification code >> Sign up
If you already have an Autel account, simply sign in with your Email ID & password.
Sign in succeeded, but your device has not been registered, please register your device with the product serial No.
The IM608 Pro’s SN & password will auto fill themselves.
Just double click on “Register”.
You’ll get a confirmation for registration succeeded.
Upgrade
- Update Software
This is the most important step: ensure your software is up to date.
Update >> System program >> Car brand
- Update Firmware
Connect J2534 to power,
Connection mode >> BT >> Pair
Searching device via Bluetooth to connect J2534.
Update >> Update now
Note: do not leave this screen until update is completed.
After completing IM608 Pro Update, you’re ready to start.
