We’re on a 2022 Jeep Compass, trying to add a key with the Autel IM508S Key Programmer. The gateway module is right behind the panel with white label. We need to unplug it and connect with a 12+8 bypass cable. You can also use the Autel IM608 II tablet to finish the job.

If you have a learned key, turn on the ignition.
Control unit >> Read immobilizer password >> Read immobilizer password(CAN)
Turn the ignition off, and turn the hazards on.
Please make sure the device has connected WiFi OK, and the IP has been obtained successfully.
Programming BOOT2…
The read password is 95377.
Keyless system(CAN) >> Key learning >> Add key
Please place the smart key on the central lock(near the shift bar), make sure the ignition is OFF.
Make sure all wireless devices(laptops, cell phones, other fob keys) are not close to the smart key being programmed.
Make sure all doors are closed.
This procedure will add a new smart key WITHOUT erasing the programmed.

The new key must be the OEM smart key(with 4A chip) of the current model.
Press “OK”.
