This is a guide on how to update OTOFIX D1 ProS/ D1 PRO diagnostic tool software for first-time use. The Update application allows you to download the latest released software. The updates can improve the OTOFIX applications’ capabilities, typically by adding new tests, new models, or enhanced applications to the database.
Before updating the OTOFIX applications, follow the instructions below to log in to your account.
How to log in with your account?
- Turn on the D1 PROS and ensure the tablet is connected to a power source with stable access to the Internet.
- Tap the “Update” application from the OTOFIX Job Menu.
- Enter your Autel ID and password and tap “Log In”.
How to update OTOFIX D1 ProS diagnostic software?
- Make sure the tablet is connected to a power source with stable access to the Internet.
- Tap the “Update” application from the OTOFIX Job Menu.
- Check all available updates:
- If you decide to update all the items, tap the Bulk Update>> Select All
- If you only want to update one or some of the item(s), tap the Get buttonon the right column of the specific item(s).
- Tap the “Pause” button to suspend the updating process. When you tap “Continue” to renew the update, the updating process will resume from the break point.
- When the updating process is completed, the software will be installed automatically. The previous version will be replaced.
