I’m gonna diagnose and reset a few faults in this 2016 Audi A6 with Autel MaxiCOM MK808S scan tool. This vehicle has got a flashing glow plug light, an ABS and airbag warning light. Next I’m gonna show how to fix them. You can refer to this article if having other Autel 808 tablets such as Autel MK808Z-BT, Autel MP808S, etc.
- Fixed Flashing Glow Plug Light
Diagnostics >> European >> Audi >> Automatic selection >> Read VIN, OK >> Audi A6 2011 >> Avant >> CGLE 2.0L TDI / 100 kW >> Yes >> Control unit >> Engine control module 1 >> Trouble codes
Here MK808S tells the fault:
P123700 – Fuel injector Cyl.1 Open circuit.
*NOTE:
Be sure you’ve fixed the problem before performing “Clear DTC”.
That has nothing to do with the flashing glow plug light, which is now being fixed and put back together. So we’ll just “Clear DTC”.
Ignition on and engine off? Yes
DTCs and freeze data will be deleted.
Press “Yes” to continue.
The flashing light has gone.
- Fixed ABS Warning Light
Go back to:
Brake >> Trouble codes
There was a simulated fault in ABS:
C101B14 – Right front ABS wheel speed sensor. Open circuit/ short circuit to ground.
I’ve clipped it back together. So go to Clear DTCs again.
Ignition on and engine off? Yes
DTCs and freeze data will be deleted.
Press “Yes” to continue.
The ABS warning light and fault codes were gone.
- Fixed Airbag Warning Light
Airbag >> Trouble codes
MK808S tells 2 faults:
B100A1B – front passenger side airbag igniter. Resistance tool high.
U112300 – Databus error value received.
Clear DTCs.
Ignition on and engine off? Yes
DTCs and freeze data will be deleted.
Press “Yes” to continue.
No fault codes detected.
The airbag warning light has gone.
Thanks to Autel MK808S, all 3 warning lights have been successfully turned off!
